Not difficult to assemble. Seemed intimidating at first bc of how many pieces there are, which came in two separate packages btw. But the instructions were easy to follow and assembly went pretty quick actually. My only complaint (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that the images are deceiving. The loft bed appears in the image much higher than it actually is. The set works great as regular bunk beds. But if you turn the bottom bunk 90 degrees to create an “L” shape set up, there isn’t enough clearance between the logt bed and bottom bunk. (29 inches from floor to bottom of loft bed)Overall, nice set. Looks nice, 4 out of 5 stars for sturdiness, and not difficult to assemble.It did not come with any hardware. I had to email the company and wait another 2 weeks for it to come in and then they weren't even the right size bolts. I had to drill the holes deeper to because they weren't in the right spots. I eventually got them put together but couldn't make them into a bunk bed. Overall it worked out after a lot of extra work and my boys have thier own beds.Well, awesome product, and easy assembly, but I ordered a gray bed, and received half gray, and half white. Still, great product if all I have to complain about is the color!!I am happy with this product. It took a while to assemble. It wasn't hard just a lot of pieces. It's very sturdy and I love the color.
