Bed was as we hoped - it matched another bed we've had in family for 20+ years. It came on-time, went together easily, but had no little plugs to fill in where the screws go in. It makes for such a 'cheap' appearance, we just can't believe it. We thought, perhaps, they were missing from our order but as I enlarge the online pictures, it doesn't appear they were ever considered. We are in search of a way to fix this, but it was disappointing when you consider all the things that could go wrong with a large delivery!It looks attractive in appearance but while assembling we noticed that the original craftsmanship is extremely poor. Trust me, do not purchase this bed frame. Spend a little bit more $$ and get one that is a better quality. Craftsmanship should be a priority but with this vendor it clearly is not of importance.This is overall a good product. Made with decent quality material. My kids love it. Sits low and is easy for them to get in and out.This is a pretty solid kid's bed. Putting it together took about 45 minutes and all of the pieces fit pretty well. The only complaint is that the slats aren't long enough to hit their pre-drilled holes on the frame. We ended up tossing those out and getting some slats that fit properly. The other option would have been to drill some holes at an angle to fasten the slats to the frame. The wood is pretty lightweight and the foot board cracked in one place when we were putting it together, but it doesn't seem to be harming the structural integrity of the bed, just the appearance, and let's face it, what furniture survives prolonged contact with kids?It seems sturdy, so far it has handled my kid jumping in it and it didn't fall apart when I sat on the bed with my kid.It's high enough that we can fit some plastic tubs designed for under bed storage beneath it, but low enough that if your kid falls out of bed they probably be just fine.It's a pretty decent, basic bed for a couple hundred bucks.My daughter loves the bed. It was a little rough to put together for me because I only had her to hold pieces for me why I tried to use the L wrench the screw down which took forever ( around 3 hours) but it was my first time ever doing that by myself and it turned out pretty good I would recommend a boxspring for it which I'm going to buy soon. Her mattress is a twin mattress and it seems a little small for the bed frame. I think it was work out better with a box spring on it just a little side pocket on on the frame of the bed where the mattress sits on looks like it needs to be a little bit wider. All the pieces were there and it really turned out great I think I would recommend buying it! reason I didn't give it five stars was because the instructions weren't wrote out they were just pictures and that took a minute to get things together. Another positive was it showed up about 4 days early!If I can put this together anyone can.My daughter loves it, but the instructions are for one who is mechanically inclined. Picture instructions only.This bed is sooo nice. I got it for my 5 year old. I assembled it by myself and took maybe 2 to 3 hours. There was a little wobble then my husband came home and fixed it so no more wobble. When you have a wobble it has to do with your installing NOT the bed itself.I love the looks of this bed. I have been wanting a platform bed, wanted something not high and this is perfect.It was a challenge to put together. Had to wait for my son to help, they give you a Allen’s wrench to put this bed together with, the holes were not drilled all the way and the bolts wouldn’t screw in. They got stuck and I was afraid I was going to strip them out. He came and had to use his drill to fully drill the holes. I also had to go to Home Depot and purchase more wooden slats for the warranty on my new mattress, the slats can’t be more than 3 inches apart and these are 5 1/2 inches apart, so I need more slats.But I just gave my bed more support. Overall not bad for the cost of it and it looks nice.I purchased the white bed
