This is the 6th set of sheets I have ordered. I returned the other 5 for one reason or another and was ready to give up.But these Peru Pima sheets are really nice: crisp Percale that is tightly woven and soft. We have washed the sheets about 10 times so far with no detectable shrinkage (we wash on a "sheets" warm water setting and dry with low heat for 40 minutes) and there is no pilling. The fit our queen mattress with room to spare. Even the top sheet is perfectly and long and wide with a foot extra at the bottom and sides so the fit is excellent. Everything is sewn nicely and the sheets are beautifully packaged, which is nice if you are giving them as a gift. The 415 thread count seems just right for our needs: warm on cold nights and cool on hot nights. They do come out of the dryer a bit wrinkled, but hey, this is cotton. I did not want to use chemically treated sheets as is necessary if you want wrinkle-free. These sheets are the first we have found that seemed to be authentic percale and my guess is that they will last a long time. I am ordering a second set now.
