I was on the fence about this set because it was a little pricey, but it was my toddlers favorite one so I got it. I’m happy I purchased it. The comforter seems to be slightly water resistant. My son won’t sleep under the comforter (has a million baby blankets he sleeps with) and he has had a few accidents during the night and when I took the comforter off to wash it, the sheets underneath were still dry. Another time, he left his sippy cup laying on it and the juice didn’t soak through to the sheets. So I’m impressed. The pattern is adorable for any train/truck/tractor lover. It’s not overly soft, but not rough feeling by any means. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.
