It’s hard to find cotton fabric of such good quality at this price. The set is definitely oversized with deep, elasticized pockets and a flat sheet that extends almost to the floor. I just don’t understand why the long side had the wide hem. This wasn’t the fit I was going for. The shorter side doesn’t hang any further over the sides than typical king sheets . If I turn it so the hem is on the side they hang down almost to the floor. I washed them before making my bed so I doubt if they could be exchanged for the Alaska king size.
