Nice bed , easy to assemble. I bought angle irons and screwed them to the bottom of the side rails of the upper bed to strengthen them and increase the weight capacity. For the lower bed, I bought a piece of 1x4 hardwood and screwed it under the bed slats Down the center of them to accomplish the same thing. It’s just a little extra insurance as my kids who sleep on this at our vacation home are grown.I absolutely love this trundle bed, It does take a while to assemble though. But I'm in love with it.Perfect bed for a guest room. I put a 6inch twin mattress on the trundle. Good value for money.
